If nothing else, this free book is a great insight into the 'mentality' of the small-scale internet marketer of 2001.
Although a lot of the content has aged since 2001, it's interesting to see which techniques have been dropped, which are still in use and which have evolved and matured.
From this, it's not hard to work out which ideas still stand true and which should be left to the annals of Internet history.
Possibly most interesting is the book's focus on the type of gimmicky stuff that a lot of us just find really annoying - but the fact that it's still around suggests that there are plenty of people who still fall for it!
